Tea Makers
About tea makers
The rapidTEA Maker 30oz has a valve in its base: add leaves and water, let the tea steep, then set the maker on a cup, mug or pitcher. The valve opens and the tea flows through the fine filter while the leaves stay inside.

Tea maker FAQ
How does a tea maker work?
Put loose tea and hot water in the maker and let it steep. Then set it on a cup or pitcher: the valve in the base opens and the tea flows out without the leaves.
How much does the rapidTEA Maker hold?
The rapidTEA Maker holds 30 oz (about 900 ml). As a guide, use about one teaspoon of loose tea per 8 oz (250 ml) of water.
Can I make iced tea or cold brew with it?
Yes. For iced tea, brew the tea stronger and release it straight over ice. For cold brew, add tea and cold water to the maker and let it steep in the fridge for 6 to 8 hours.
How do I clean a tea maker?
Remove the leaves after brewing and rinse the maker with warm water. Clean the filter and valve with a little dish soap from time to time.
