Bamboo leaves come from the fast-growing bamboo plant, which is native to East and Southeast Asia and woven deeply into the culture of China and Japan. Dried and cut for tea, they brew a light, clean cup with a gently grassy, slightly sweet aroma reminiscent of fresh green tea. Bamboo leaves blend well with green and white tea, lemongrass, mint, jasmine and light fruits such as pear or melon. Use water just off the boil and enjoy them hot or iced.
