Description
Yame Matcha Supreme – Rich, Nutty Luxury Matcha from FukuokaYame Matcha Supreme is an incredibly complex, rich and nutty matcha powder from the Yame region of Fukuoka prefecture, Japan — an area celebrated for producing some of the country's finest green teas. This exclusive matcha is crafted by a tea master using the first-flush leaves of five different varieties of Japanese tea bushes: Okumidori, Saemidori, Tsuyuhikari, Okuyutaka and Yabukita. Blending these cultivars creates a beautifully balanced and complex flavor profile. Yame Matcha is made using the traditional Japanese method. Once the leaves are picked, they are steamed, dried and blended before being ground into an ultra-fine powder in a traditional "usu, " or stone mill. This slow, careful grinding preserves the matcha's delicate aroma, vivid color and silky texture. Tasting Notes
