Meine Cousine bewunderte, wie konsistent der Geschmack für sie über viele Aufgüsse hinweg war, und wie viele Aufgüsse (etwa 10?) wir bekamen, bevor diese Blätter anfingen, an Geschmack zu verlieren.
Ich habe diesen Tee besonders mit süßen und nussigen Snacks genossen. Er begleitete meinen Mondkuchen mit Lotussamenkern und Eigelb zum Herbstfest wunderbar und schmeckt gut mit kandiertem Mandeln und Pekannüssen.I have really enjoyed this tea with my family. The main flavors that come through for me are a classic black tea with sweet potato and dates. It's just the slightest bit sweet but not too sweet, and not bitter. I brew it about 4g/100ml at boiling in a thin porcelain gaiwan, pouring a thin stream into the center of the leaves and draining the liquid immediately when full for the first 3 brews, then increasing by about 10-15 seconds each subsequent steep. My cousin marveled about how consistent the taste was to him across many steeps, and just how many steeps (10 or so?) that we got before these leaves began to lose flavor.
I've enjoyed this especially paired with sweet and nutty snacks. It accompanied my lotus seed & egg yolk mooncake for mid autumn festival beautifully, and tastes good with candied almonds and pecans.

Dieser Tee hier ist angenehm herb mit einem Geschmack wie Brot und Gras, was seltsam klingt, aber wirklich schön ist. Fünf Sterne.I very much like this tea and i usually only like plain black supermarket tea. This tea here is nicely astringent with a flavour like bread and grass, which sounds odd but is really nice. Die Lieferung war schnell und da ich einige Blütenknospen-Tees bestellte, kam alles schön verpackt in einer Schachtel an. Dieser Tee ist herrlich und mit einem Hauch Honig hat er mich genau getroffen. Es ist zart und erdig mit einem Hauch von Vanille. Es erinnerte mich an das Vanilletabak meines Großvaters für seine Raucherpfeife, aber natürlich zart wie eine warme Umarmung. Danke, dass du mir kostbare Erinnerungen an ihn zurückgebracht hast. Es war unbezahlbar.I’m new too to elevated teas and I chose this to start with. I’m not sorry at all. Delivery was quick and since I ordered some flower bud teas everything came nicely packed in a box. This tea is superb and with a touch of honey it hit the right spot with me. It’s delicate yet earthy with a hint of vanilla. It reminded me of my gran dad’s vanilla tobacco for his smoking pipe but obviously delicate like a warm hug. Thanks for bringing back Cherished memories of him. It’s been priceless.

Definitiv ein Muss für Schwarztee-Liebhaber.Honestly, this thing has become one of my favourite black teas. The scent it has is divine, and the complex malty, earthy, sweet and it's just... Something completely unique. I'm extremely bad at describing how things taste, but this tea just makes you think as you sip, and every time you take a sip, you notice something new in the flavour. This tea rewards you for taking it seriously, but is also super approachable for a newcomer. Definitely a must try for black tea lovers.

Gute Arbeit.The dry leaves smell EXACTLY like a certain type of small, clean cattle barn common where I grew up. The sort of barn with gentle cows quietly chewing, buckets of twine and secret kittens in spring. It's a very honest sort of smell and I was startled to be transported back to childhood by opening a bag of tea. When brewed, the vanilla is apparent and 'honey-like' is apt. It's almost brothy in body; the malt becoming more apparent with multiple washes. But that smell though... Good Job.
